Dr Dabber Switch Go

The Dr Dabber Switch Go is pretty much a smaller, more portable version of the Switch 2, with the size of the unit being decreased by 54%. It uses the same induction heating technology but makes use of a 14mm instead of 20mm quartz insert so provides the same vapor quality and flexibility in heating profiles. The recommended dab size is a grain of rice but the chamber can handle anything up to around half a gram if you really want to load it up heavily!

Like the larger Switch 2 it makes use of a single crystal quartz insert and isolated air path consisting of the quartz insert, glazed alumina ceramic pathway and glass bubbler for ultra clean vapor. The Switch Go is another truly brilliant device from Dr Dabber, while it lacks the outright capacity of the Switch 2 it still provides top notch performance and vapor quality, while being just small enough to be considered portable. 

The Switch Go comes pre-set with 5 different heat settings that can be cycled through (no app needed), all of which come pre-programmed in decent mode which mimics a quartz banger, starting hot then cooling through the session. These heat settings can be adjusted using the app to any of the other heating modes (listed below), or set up using the custom profile, allowing you to fine tune your experience to exactly how you'd like it! If you can't be bothered with any of that or it all sounds a bit overwhelming, the pre-programmed settings out the box provide a great range of temperatures and a super experience! So no stress if you just want to use it out the box (after charging it please!), or get to know the device a little better before you start playing with all the in-app options!

Pre-Programmed Profiles

• Setting 1 — 204°C — Purple — Descent Mode (entry-level terpene sessions)
• Setting 2 — 227°C — Blue — Descent Mode
• Setting 3 — 249°C — Cyan — Descent Mode (recommended default)
• Setting 4 — 260°C — Orange — Descent Mode
• Setting 5 — 282°C — White — Descent Mode (high-temp cloud production)

Modes - The app allows for a customisable experience. Not only can you set up 5 custom heating profiles to your liking (full range via app: 121–343°C), it also has 6 different heating profiles which can be applied!

• Descent: The temperature will slowly decrease once it reaches the set temperature by the user. This heating mode simulates the thermal decay of a banger, naturally cooling as time passes. This is the default setting.

• Ascent: The temperature will slowly increase once it reaches the set temperature by the user. This heating mode simulates torching the banger as you inhale, increasing temperature consistently during the hold time.

• Steady: The unit will adjust the temperature to hold steady throughout the entire heating cycle. This heating mode is how most eRigs function.

• Hill: Gradually increases temperature to focus on vapor production, followed by a gentle descent to create a smooth, flavorful finish.

• Valley: A gentle decrease in temperatures delivering exceptional terpene preservation, followed by a slow rise to finish with quality vapor production.

• Custom: Create your own custom Dynamic Heating Mode with our included tools and interface. Explore and develop your own experience. Max heating is 10 degrees per second. Max cooling is 3 degrees per second.

The Switch Go will remember the last temp setting and heating mode after you close the app and/or turn the unit on/off. No need to reset the temp and mode each time.

It also has a cleaning assist function in the app which heats the banger up to 100f, softening any residues and making them easier to clean off with a cotton swab.

You will need some cotton buds/swabs to wipe out the quartz banger after each session. We also suggest using the Mini HDT to pick up and drop your dab directly into the chamber, without the need to touch the quartz with the provided metal tool.

App Usage

Update your Switch Go before first use, using the app, if you'd like to run it with custom profiles. Even if you're not planning to do this it's a good idea to update it on arrival, just to ensure you're running the latest firmware for the best user experience. Ensure you leave the device on and the app screen open, with your phone screen on while updating to ensure it updates properly. With your phone Bluetooth on, turn on then device then open app. On android you can use the Dr Dabber app, on apple you can use the Lablink App. Detailed instructions on how to do this can be found in the Knowledge Base which can be Found Here.
