Vaphit's QOQ is the most complete all glass torch heated vaporizer we've encountered, it's very well thought out and designed and comes as a very complete kit with a 14.4mm male joint WPA, spare cap, bowl and o-rings all contained in a carry case. The bowl has a built in glass screen and the mouthpiece has a very stylish and functional glass spiral built in, connected by a Titanium housing piece.

The QOQ can be heated with a pocket micro torch (e.g PB-207 or CG-001) or larger micro torch (e.g. Stingray or Firefox). You can also use one of the Yocan Red torches to heat this, with the flame adjusted down to a smaller size. If possible we'd suggest sticking to these larger torches as they're quicker and provide more even heating of the cap. With the larger torches it's also easier to gauge the temperature as the flame changes to yellow as it hits the hot cap, when the cap is at around the right temperature for vaping!

Something that we really love about Vaphit's QOQ (aside from the glass spiral inside the mouthpiece which provides just about the right level of vapor cooling) is that the bowl, cap and mouthpiece are all connected by the Titanium central housing. This not only makes it easier to hold your QOQ without worrying about hot fingers, but also allows the device to be put down on a surface while hot without the need for a stand (though it can roll, so be cautious)...

Our favourite feature of this Titanium housing is that the bowl and mouthpiece can stay attached as one part, with the cap attached to the other part. This is particularly useful as instead of pulling the Quartz cap out of the Titanium housing to load or unload the bowl, which can lead to hot fingers, breakages and the need to place a hot cap down somewhere; you can simply unscrew the Titanium housing and place the part with the cap attached down on a surface. No need to touch the glass and no need to find a heat resistant surface to put it down on!

Loading and unloading your QOQ

Loading can be done in two ways, you can either grind your herb then dip the end of your QOQ in the herb and inhale, this is known as straw loading. You can also do the reverse and blow your QOQ to empty it. Alternatively it can be loaded with a SQP Mini. You can use a PortAVB to store your AVB in though I'd be careful about using the debowling spike due to the glass screen in the bowl.

Heating your QOQ

The QOQ has around a 0.1g capacity of ground herb (medium or coarse grind to avoid little particles) and can also be used with little nugs if desired. You can tamp using the SQP Mini if you'd like to pack a little more in and don't mind restricting the airflow, though don't tamp too hard. To heat it simply apply the torch flame just above the airflow intake holes on the cap, angled slightly up, and slowly rotate the QOQ until the flame changes from blue to yellow when hitting the cap. There is a small learning curve with this device but we've managed to get the hang of it without combusting once, so it's fairly easy to learn. Once heated all you have to do is gently suck your QOQ to retrieve the creamy goodness. When reheating your QOQ stop a little early as the bowl will have retained some heat and so doesn't need quite as much pumped into it.

Cleaning your QOQ

Carefully disassemble your QOQ and place the glass parts into ISO. Soak until clean. Always rinse your QOQ thoroughly with hot water and leave to dry. No one likes a dirty QOQ. It's not a bad idea to apply a little lubricant to your QOQ to help the bowl slide on and off more easily over the o-rings.

Assembling your QOQ

The QOQ comes with the quartz bowl separate to the device in the case. To install the bowl, please unscrew the Titanium housing and gently push the bowl into place while rotating it slowly. Be careful these are fragile and can break easily if not done with care!

Love the QOQ.

After years of spending on Dynabits I am a bit narked to find I reach for Vaphit almost every time these days. I had the OG and the X tips and loved them both, and the QOQ is another winner. I don't think there's a better value in dry herb vaping looking at the flavour, ease of use and clouds for £42. The kit includes two tips, two heaters and all the o-rings you'll need as well as a brush and a glass WPA. The tips are probably the most fragile part but fine with care, the heater is a nice solid piece of glass and the titanium bits are very functional but a bit blocky, some rounded edges would be nice. Function is very, very good; you have to work at it to get near combustion and once you dial it in one hit extraction is easy with great flavour, and smaller hits are 10/10 for flavour and smoothness. You need a small torch or strong multi-flame lighter but with that the QOQ offers unbeatable bang for the buck.

Very good but be careful

Being all glass the flavour is great. Have been using regularly and been very happy.

Today tried to invert the bowl to increase capacity. It doesn't appear to seat properly it order to screw on the cap. I applied too much pressure and broke the bowl so personally it is not recommended to try this.

Overall it is good but it is fragile so use with care.
