Conduction/Convection - The "Terpcicle" Quartz by the Rogue Wax Works (RWW).
These babies are simple, effective and incredibly powerful little torch heated vaporizers, hand-made by The Rogue Wax Works in the USA. The Terpsicle makes use of Hybrid heating with both conduction and convection coming heavily into play. Suitable for both portable use with a J-Hook or at home using a glass rig/bubbler! These are not to be used natively, joining glass for cooling and a mouthpiece is required.
Before going any further we can highly recommend checking out the Terpsicle Demonstration Video by RWW as this will give you a visual demonstration of exactly how this device functions, along with a fair idea of what you can expect when using it. We're actually not going to include any heating instructions in this listing as the above video covers this completely.
The Terpcicle has a Quartz heater and can be used without a metal mesh screen for the purest of experiences. Simply load your herb in and tamp a little before use... But don't worry if that's not your thing, they also come with strong mesh screens which can be torched then brushes clean for years to come! These allow for ground material and faster extractions. You can also add in a little hemp wool or terp balls to the herb chamber, then load in dabs or cbd hash. When used this way The Terpsicle is one of our favourite setups for hash.
It's not a bad idea to grab a Sick Clip to either hold your chamber section on your glass, the chamber and adapter together, or get two and clip all of the above so that only the heater section can be moved freely! Also a wide base Glass Stand will save you having to put the hot glass down on a surface if you're switching things around or using it with hot ruby balls for concentrates/hashes.

Exactly as described, works even better than I'd hoped! Very tasty through a water pipe and easy to clean too. It's bit of a learning curve for a newer vaper for sure but it's a heavyweight once you get the heating down right (eg a heat soak is essential for the big hits I was after).
A wide base female stand makes this heating/soaking/heating process easier for me personally and but it's not too difficult to handle directly either. I'd recommend a big torch as well.
I think it's a bit delicate to be truly portable but it's not impossible if you really need to. I think my only other criticism is my inability to function after using it fully loaded, it's one for the end of the day for sure!
Fully recommend if you need a tasty heavy hitter.

A really solid, convection heavy vape. Same concept as the GC Tasty Tube with some interesting differences.
Although it's shorter than the TT, it has a larger bowl. It has a slightly more restricted air flow than the GC Tasty Tube, thanks to a single hole in the Terp's heater (three fewer than the TT).
Smaller also means a faster heat up time, although the quartz heaters on both retain their heat for about the same length of time
You can use it screen free if you use a coarse grind, or put some glass balls/rubies in the bowl (excellent for hash). The Tasty Tube allows for a finer grind because it has 4 indents below the bowl (the Terpsicle has just one) but I prefer to use an ash catcher wiith both, especially on a jhook. Well worth it, and given the quartz heater upgrade to the Tasty Tube costs £25, better value imo
Loving this i use it wit my water pipe and basically like the video 20 secs then 3 - 5 and it rocks.
