The Starry V4 by XMax is a very capable and very portable little conduction vape with a large herb chamber and replaceable 18650 battery. No space is wasted in this thing making it one of the smallest portable herb vapes with a use replaceable battery!
It has a 0.3g ceramic chamber which, due to being conduction (hot surface, not hot air) based needs to be filled to the brim for proper performance. It provides great flavour, though this does drop off faster than with convection vapes, has an isolated airpath and all ceramic cooling system and mouthpiece.
The very compact design, small size and great ergonomics make this an excellent choice for a hard hitting and cost effective little portable. With, as mentioned, a user replaceable 18650 battery which when used with an external 18650 charger, removes the need for any down time while you wait for the vape to charge!
The Starry V4 has very little learning curve, the wide chamber makes it particularly easy to fill and with full temp control settings it provides a very consistent experience. One thing to remember is that like all conduction vapes, if you fire it up and leave it without inhaling, your herb will still vaporize in the chamber... so don't do that!
Battery life is decent here too, with one charge on the provided battery you can expect around 10 x 4 minute sessions at max temperature (220c), with a couple more sessions being possible if you run it at lower temps.
The only downsides other than the drop of in flavour, common to all conduction vapes, is that the adjustable airflow slider (it does have adjustable airflow) is a little loose, so you will need to check that's still in the right place before each session! It also gets a little hot when running back to back sessions so the Silicone Sleeve is a highly recommended accessory!
