Mini Pollen Press Puck Makers. These are really handy little bits of kit for compressing your collected kief into a nice small compacted puck or for making small pucks out of your un-ground herb for pressing in a rosin press!
Directions
- Unscrew the top section with the handle
- Ensure the bottom lid section is screwed on and the metal puck is in place in the bottom lid
- Do not over-tighten the bottom, just ensure it's done up
- Insert kief (approx. max. 5g) or herb (approx. max. 2g) into the open top
- Replace the top section with handle and screw into place (you may need to unwind the handle before doing this to make room for the herb)
- Wind the handle back down to create the puck
- For herb pucks you don't need to go too hard, just enough to form a puck with even density
- For Kief pucks it's best to wind the handle down fully. If you want to make very solid pucks you can wait an hour or so and wind the handle down some me, then repeat until it no longer compacts
- DO NOT try to add additional material to your puck by unscrewing the top and putting more in
- When it's time to remove your puck, unscrew the bottom lid then wind the handle all the way down to push the puck out of the tube
- After this is done, dismantle the puck maker and wipe it down with an ISO wipe to remove any residue from the inside and from the metal puck before starting again
- If you skip this cleaning step, you risk jamming it up, so don't skip it! It's not worth the hassle.
