Armoured coils have slightly slower initial heat up but are at least as fast to recharge the housing once heated. They are made from SS316 and SS304 and are less likely to leave scratches on the housing due to their smooth interior. They also look slick as hell (see photo)!
These coils are only designed for the Universal Baller housing and may not fit other setups due to their very tight tolerances

Thanks for the review. This is something we've noticed too, with the UB you do need to hold the housing against the bowl during use to ensure it gets a good connection, unlike the Ace which sucks the housing into place as soon as you start the inhale. In fairness the seal on the Vapvana bowls took something like 9 prototypes to get perfected so it's got a slicker connection between the bowl and housing than pretty much any hyrbid diffuser setup!
This hits all corners, Taste is maxed out, Airflow is maxed out, Vapour is maxed out, whole path is Quartz and it makes a tremendous difference, and the price point for conversion kit is alright given its an early product, for me well worth it at the conversion kit price point. Overall I'd say its 10/10 for me having had before venty/mighty/arizer solo, Q,Extreme/Tiodw 2.0 Plus, Terpicicle, Quartz cap 18mm, QR baller 18mm, This simply beats them all in Taste, Ariflow, Vapour production.
I recommend using wireless mode at 260c ( The longer you wait for bowl to heat up the more of those low temp terps you'll taste, u wont have to fidget around with the temp controls on PID best of both worlds), 3-4 pulls then to finish off I use the heater and coil together in wireless mode for the last 4 pulls, just be carefull while using wirelessly the coil will get stuck at the bottom of the bowl and pick it up as u pick up the coil and drop it on the floor like I did, always hold bowl and coil/heater in wireless mode when using both ( Or pay expensive USA replacement the bowls are cheap but delivery is 2-3x the price of the bowl lol.)
P.S. The fritted disk is very air restrictive, the high flow quartz Disc is highly reccomended instead for this reason.
The taste signature of this device is very nice, the quartz/ruby airpath really seems to makes a difference. The vapour production is is dense and plentiful as well as tasting amazing.
I'm running it in wireless quartz setup with the high air flow disc and the airflow is excellent. The included standard glass bowl is really nice, it provides great flavour and airflow and is so compact. Everything is well made and feels like quality kit. I also like how you get all the parts to change to a standard titanium set up. (Will be useful when I inevitably break the quartz insert and am waiting for a new one 😁 ).
