Porous Ceramic Flavour discs, for use with concentrates in convection setups.
Porous black ceramic is an inert material which provides accurate flavour and smooth vapour from your concentrates. They are suitable for torch cleaning only, soaking them will only remove some of the residues left by your concentrates.
As these work on convection for the best vapour production leave the Quartz E-Heater on the rig in between draws instead of removing it and clearing the rig of vapour. This will allow more heat to be retained by the disc, improving vapour production through the session. You can clear the rig at the end of each draw but you will need to inhale for a few extra seconds each time to get heat back into the Flavor Disc.
In the Elev8R E-heater Full Kit they are best when run at slightly higher temperatures than you vapourise herb with, try increasing the temp by 10-20F on your PID controller and work up from there if you want more vapour. They do not provide the same kind of thick vapour as for example, bucket based setups, but do provide satisying and very flavourful vapour. They can be loaded multiple times before needing to be torched, providing you keep the temperatures low enough to avoid burning concentrate into them.
