Boveda Humidipaks are a two way humidity control system for maintaining a constant relative humidity inside your storage container. They can be used to restore moisture to old or dry material, improving the grind by preventing turning it to powder and can improve your yields if pressing. Re-hydrating your herb is a slow process which generally takes at least a few days depending on environmental factors (mainly temperature), the amount you're re-hydrating and the size of the storage container. The ideal storage and curing temperature (at last check) was agreed to be around 21 Centigrade.
We have the 58% or 62% options depending on your preference. Generally 62% is agreed to be the best relative humidity (RH) for curing (and for smoking); it is also a better RH to maintain material at if it is to be pressed. However many people prefer a slightly lower storage RH for vaping since it makes for slightly faster vapor production with a lower moisture content in the vapor (lower moisture content makes it marginally smoother on the first couple of inhales). You can totally cure at 58% though, or vape at 62%, there isn't a big difference... so we got both! Choose your weapon.
It is important to note that Humidipaks don't suck much moisture out of your herb, so if your herb is at a higher RH it's best to slowly dry it first, then store it with a Boveda.
Boveda Humidipaks are compatible with the CVault Twist and CVault Clip Top containers for a convenient and easy storage solution which keeps the Humidpak out of contact with the herb.

The components of the Boveda humidity pack are natural elements: salt and pure water. There are no harmful chemicals used within and all ingredients are food grade approved. The Humidipak only allows pure water vapour to be transferred.
When your Boveda feels crispy and crunchy it's time to replace or renew it with distilled water vapour.
