Ruby Twist Housing

Grabbed this to go along with the ss Thermal Twist and was not expecting there to be a huge difference, but its noticeable. I've founded myself using the Ruby Twist during the daytime for microdosing as it seems to handle that incredibly well, before switching over to the TT for bigger bowls before bed. Definitely well worth picking up.

The original Thermal Twist is brilliant but this takes the experience to another level! Heat transfer is a lot faster allowing fuller extraction at lower temps but this can also do single hit full extractions if you desire! Good to watch your flower spin as it is roasted as well. Very enjoyable experience and great service from RecVapeS again!!

I really love the tiny diffuser bowl with the ruby twist, it's how I'll always be using it as I've got another injector that I micro dose with. I've owned or tried a lot of the different ball vapes out there. For me I just prefer the micro doses and this vape fits into and competes my set up nicely. It performs brilliantly as a micro diffuser ball vape.

The only small negative I have to say is I found the airflow a little bit too restrictive. So I spent a few days comparing different fillers. I found 3mm ball rubies got the airflow I wanted, it still white walls instantly and has far more capacity than I have capacity in my lungs, also I put a new screen with bigger holes between the twist part. My opinion about restrictive airflow is when I'm inhaling at some point it feels like all the air has been removed from the bong but can't be replaced fast enough through the filler in the vape. With the 3mm balls this problem doesn't happen in this vape so this is how I'll be using it. Another point is I can use a very fine grind now.

When I bought this I was thinking the twist part might not be needed for the way I plan to use it, but I found it tastes slightly better with the twist part compared to filling the chamber full of balls which I was actually surprised about but it's definitely better with the twist part.

I can also use the ruby twist to vape hash which is absolutely brilliant. It needs a heat soak on the micro dose bowl and the 1st hit will be tasty but not very thick. Before the 2nd give the bowl a good stir to break up the hash, it can be kinda sticky but it will break up, then when you inhale it will white wall the bong and melt your face, the worst part is the screen will need torched and brushed to get rid of the ash but it's not that big of a deal

If you have the original thermal twist it’s a worth while upgrade, easy to install instant vapour production and a more even roast of your chosen herb.
