TCR 260 - 50W - 160-260C (vapour range, can be used hotter).
Divine Tribe may not do another production run of this atomizer and we cannot restock as they're very low on them too. This page will be left up for a while as reference material and in the hope of another run...
The New Edition Quartz Quest was designed by Divine Tribe and manufactured by Longmada. This, like the DC V4 Crucible is considered an advanced rebuildable atomizer, all parts are easily replaceable with simple tools. The only extra tool you will need for coil replacement is a pair of wire cutters for trimming down coil legs. When care is taken with the atomizer and bucket these are extremely long lasting coils, with an expected lifespan of three to six months, in some cases longer.
Before use - fully tighten the screws which clamp down the wires to ensure you have a proper electrical connection.
fullbundlediscount - 5% off when purchasing any atomizer, water tool and mod box together.
This atomizer has been designed to perform like a mini quartz banger. It has a small bucket with a thick base, thick walls and requires around 50 Watts with TCR based temperature control to heat accurately. The thick walls ensure minimal breakages but more importantly provide a large heated area which retains heat well for larger vapour clouds. Having a quartz bucket and quartz airflow path the vapour produced is very smooth with excellent flavour. The Quartz Quest is considered a LAYGO (Load as you go) atomizer due to it's small capacity. The bucket takes small dabs no larger than a grain of rice and efficiently vapourises the contents. Having a small bucket and large heaters the base of the bucket reaches temperature within around 6-8 seconds providing some of the best, if not the best flavour we've had from a quartz bucket.
The airflow tube has been designed to work two different ways. You can load the atomizer and simply hold it at a slight angle, then point the airflow tubs at the bottom corner where the concentrate collects. This allows for simple and effective vapourisation.
The second method is to use it like a directional carb cap. Rotate the top airflow cap (clockwise), or the mod/atomizer (anti-clockwise) during use. This is done to point the air-in tube at different parts of the bucket, directing air onto the concentrate and pushing it around the hot surface of the bucket so it vapourizes more thoroughly and mixes while doing so, improving flavour. This design make the New Quartz Quest an extremely efficient vapourizer.
We advise lubricating your o-rings on arrival (and keeping them lubricated) with a little o-ring lubricant, applied with q-tip. If you do not do this the cap will be very difficult to turn during use. A Silicone Bumper ring has been included for gripping the hot quartz cap while rotating it.
Like all bucket based atomizers there are two main methods for use. Cold and hot starts. We've found the Quartz Quest performs well with both methods, providing excellent flavour from cold starts. Our preferred method for this atomizer is to allow it around 10-12 seconds to heat so the walls and base of the bucket are very hot, then load it while hot, replace the cap and use it like a mini rig! This method provides relatively large clouds from very small dabs.
We advise using the Quartz Quest with a dual battery mod as it consumes a lot of power draining single battery mods quickly.
