The Oct-core parallel fused wire from Advanced Vape Supply sits in the middle of their high end range, between hex-core and staple wires. Like the Hex-core wires these are ideal for wrapping flat coils but having a larger surface area due to the two extra coils produce more vapour. The Advanced Vape Supply clapton wires are the highest quality spooled claptons we've used, all their wires can be setup to provide excellent flavour and epic vapour production.
The Oct-core Fused wire are made from 8 x 32 gauge wires all claptoned by a single 37 gauge wire. Made from tightly wrapped SS316L these wires can be used with SS-TC and we keep them between 160-230C for the best flavour on regular TCR/TC based mods. DNAs and some other modw such as the Aegis Solo 100W run these wires more accurately we use these between 180-240C. The dimensions of this wire are 1.75 x 0.45mm. Please note these temperatures will vary slightly between mods.
We suggest using it with TRVP atomizer builds. This is the most recent wire developed by AVS and excels when used with flat coil builds and heater builds. Due to the width it can also be used for wrapping rods or terp balls but for these is a little trickier to work with than the hex core.
Reclaim can be wicked away from the coil at 200C by holding it upside down with a tissue held gently against it and blown gently to remove excess. They can also be soaked in ISO, cleaned/brushed, dried and then fired on the mod to be cleaned.
Use code "mmmmwire" for 10% off when purchased with a TRVP Atomizer.

Wraps / Inner Diameter
These are advanced wires designed for advanced users, you should have a good knowledge of battery safety, ohms law and coil building if purchasing. While they can be used with mech mods, like all our products we advise that these should only be used with regulated mods for safety.
Advanced Vape Supply recommend selecting 3.5mm - 4mm and 5-6 wraps to fit most newer RDA's that are 24mm or more. For most 24mm RTA's we recommend 3mm diameter for wicking purposes.
Temps will vary depending on coil build, mod box and other factors such as the ambient temperature when the baseline resistance was set; these are just guidelines.
